If you ever downgrade, no companion profile is deleted — extra profiles simply rest, read-only and fully preserved, ready to wake the moment you return. A companion's place here is never contingent on your best financial month.
The same holds if a payment fails or a membership lapses: profiles rest indefinitely, and there is no point at which resting turns into deleted. An account holds at most six profiles in total, legacy included — a bounded constellation is what lets us promise to keep it.
